South Rim Lodging Information

In Grand Canyon National Park, there are seven lodges in the park, one historic hotel and a guest ranch. There are a wide variety of eating establishments from cafeterias to formal dining at the El Tovar Hotel.

Lodging on the South Rim includes: Bright Angel Lodge, El Tovar Hotel, Kachina Lodge, Thunderbird Lodge, Maswik Lodge, Moqui Lodge, Yavapai Lodge in the South Rim. Lodging in the park is completely booked well in advance. Be sure to make reservations as far ahead as possible.

All lodging within the park is handled through Grand Canyon National Park Lodges. Write:

North Rim Lodging Information

North Rim lodging in the park is also handled through AmFac Parks & Resorts. Grand Canyon Lodge is on the North Rim and as with the South Rim, lodging on the North Rim is booked well in advance. Make reservations as far ahead as possible. Grand Canyon Lodge has a dining room and snack bar. There is no diesel fuel available. Shower and laundry facilities and a small general store are located at the North Rim campground.

There is no youth hostel in Grand Canyon National Park.



Lodging Outside the Park

Grand Canyon Inn St George Vacation Rentals - Southern Utah's Gateway to Grand Canyon, Zion, and Bryce Canyon National Parks

Lodging outside the South Rim is available in Williams (60 miles south on Highway 64) and Flagstaff (80 miles south on Highway 180).

Lodging is available seasonally outside the park on the North Rim at Kaibab Lodge (18 miles north of the North Rim) and Jacob Lake Inn (45 miles north of the North Rim).

St. George Vacation Rentals - Southern Utah's Gateway to Zion, Bryce, and Grand Canyon National Parks

St. George Vacation Rentals lodging is highly preferred to the traditional hotel room. One to four bedroom condos accommodations include a full kitchen, a living room, and towel and linen service. Green Valley Resort amenities include: six pools (including a lap pool, an indoor pool, and a children's wading pool), four spas, exercise room, tennis, racquetball, basketball, volleyball, and playgrounds. Resort condos start at $ 114.00 a night. St. George is a short 130 miles from Bryce Canyon National Park.
